Preston Mui grew up in San Francisco and trained with Arturo Fernandez of the Lines Contemporary Ballet and Elvia Marta at the School of the Arts High School. In 2000, he moved to Hollywood and completed the scholarship program at the Edge Performing Arts Center, then began working as a professional dancer. He has worked with major recording artists such as Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, The Pussycat Dolls, Black Eyed Peas, John Legend, Jennifer Lopez, Jason Mraz, Janet Jackson and Christina Aguilera. His experience ranges from countless, live stage shows and music videos, to national commercials for Mcdonalds, Budweiser and Target and network TV shows like The Voice, 2 Broke Girls, Parenthood and American Idol. He has performed on world tours and has worked with some of the industry’s greatest choreographers and artistic directors such as Kevin Maher, Nappy Tabs, Mandy Moore, Gil Duldulao, Brian Freidman, Tina Landon and Jamie King. Preston, also, competed on the MTV competition reality show, America’s Best Dance Crew Season 7, with FANNY PAK. His career has given him a strong foundation and he has become one of the world’s leading educators of dance.
